Barking Horse Farm is happy to welcome back the dynamic Parelli couple, 3* Susan Nelson & 4* Maurice Thibault, for another great Parelli riding adventure. This year on December 6 -16, 2013 they will be team teaching a two day workshop in their unique duo style. After which they will be riding out with their students on a 6 day riding adventure though the mountains of the Nicoya Penninsula and along three of the most beautiful and secluded beaches in all of Costa Rica.
This is an amazing journey where you are guaranteed to see lots of monkeys, as well as a large variety of tropical birds, forests, streams, waterfalls, and beautiful views of the pacific coast line. You will get a chance to swim with your horse and ride bare back on the beach if you like. There will be options for hiking and kayaking as extra curricular activities as well.
This trip is especially unique because it offers varied levels of trails from easy to advanced, taking you through remote areas of this beautiful country, while providing quality lodging every evening. After a full day of exciting riding you can relax in comfort and luxury at some of the best hotels that Costa Rica has to offer (see our itinerary page for more details on lodging). “I love horse back riding and therefore love nature but I’m a city girl and there is only
a certain amount of nature I can take. This trip was the perfect combination of pure nature and comfort. Every day we spent 4-7 hours in the saddle, everyday we saw the most beautiful views, trails and beaches. Every evening we got our suite cases and had a nice shower and bed.
