Ariel is originally from Nicaragua. He came to Costa Rica with his brother when he was a teenager. He grew up with horses and has continued his work with them here in Costa Rica. He has been riding the treks with Liz since 2008. He has attended several Parelli workshops and his use of the gentle techniques of natural horsemanship is gaining him recognition as a horse trainer and colt starter within the Costa Rican cowboy culture. He has been helping to train the Barking Horse Farm’s new horses. He lives close to the beach with his wife and three children.
