When I met Pat Parelli, I knew, on a deep intuitive level, that after 30 years of constant involvement with horses I had found an instructor whose skill with and understanding of horses was extraordinary.
And so started my formal natural horsemanship journey.

3* Parelli Instructor Christine Madoni will be teaching a 2 day workshop in April 2012
Through Parelli, I found a way to develop a relationship with horses that enable them to enjoy both ground work (on-line and liberty) and riding (freestyle and finesse) while developing confidence and respect in the partnership.
3* Parelli Instructors Susan Nelson and Maurice Thibault will be teaching a two day workshop in July 2012.
Each have been involved with horses their entire lives. Maurice’s experience with horses started when he was a teenager at his uncle’s dairy farm in Quebec, Canada and then progressed to being a working cowboy on the largest cattle ranches in British Colombia for over 10 years. He is an exceptional colt starter and his feel for a horse is top notch. Susan’s experience with horses began in her mother’s Los Angeles backyard at the early age of 2. Riding double behind her mom all over the mountains, turned into riding her own pony at age 7 and her first horse at age 9. Susan had a very comprehensive and successful show career as a youth rider in all disciplines.
Susan was introduced to Parelli in 1995 and has delved deep into the understanding of horsemanship ever since. In 2003 she became a Licensed Parelli Professional and a Horse Developement Specialist in 2004. Maurice was introduced to Parelli in 2001 and by 2004 was a Licensed Parelli Professional and a Horse Development Specialist in 2005.
In 2003, while at the Parelli Ranch Susan & Maurice met and have been together ever since. They now live at 3L Ranch, their home in Tehachapi, CA.
Susan & Maurice are looking forward to co-teaching the clinic at Barking Horse Farm to make it an even more comprehensive learning experience for those coming in from far or near.
