Located in the beautiful, lush mountains of Puriscal, Costa Rica, Barking Horse Farm is a place where involvement in the day to day management of the animals and farm systems leads to an understanding of the ways humans, animals, and the earth work together to support and sustain each other. Here, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle environment, you can connect with nature and fill your senses with the energy that abounds.

Ride a Pony
There is a harmony that exists on Barking Horse Farm. The animals have a large amount of freedom. They intermingle and interact. On any day you can see dogs play with goats, cats playfully tease chickens, or a horse inspect a pig. Living on the farm as a human being you are able to find your place in the animal world.

Prices per person are as follows:
Farm Tour Petting Zoo: with goats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, guniea pigs, cats and dogs (includes a cold fruit juice drink) $5 per child, no charge for adults.
Farm fresh country-style lunch: $7 per person
Pony Rides for smaller children: $10 per person
Private Riding Lesson: $45 (one hour)
Horse Games in the ring: (two or more riders) $35
Semi Private Lesson: (two or more riders) $35
One hour trail ride: $35 per person
Two hour trail ride: $45
