David’s 5th time back with us was just as much fun as ever. David came to the farm the day before the trek to help us with choosing our horses and our “preflight checks”. The trek took us through the beautiful Costa Rican country side. We stayed with local families along the way, swam in rivers (with the horses too!), visited a chocolate farm, soared through the air on a zipline (not with the horses), cantered on the beach and swam with the horses in the ocean. We met David at the beach for two more days of workshop.We learned to use the porcupine game in lots of new ways, how to use “scan and capture” as a training technique, we played at liberty and learned the boomerang game, we practiced our carrot stick riding and had fun synchronizing to music and much much more.
Thank you David for a great workshop. You are an awesome and FUN teacher!!!! And thank you to the trekers who made the trip a great one!!
